Peak High Tide on West 12th Road

This morning's high tide has peaked at 8:45 am with some 26 inches of water in the street at the end of the block, slightly less than yesterday's 28 inches of flooding.

The myriad of vehicles which were totalled as a result of yesterday morning's unexpected coastal flooding  remain parked on W12th Road awaiting tow attesting to the economic losses that will be sustained by residents.

Street flooding ran all the way up to the Stop sign at the corner of W12th Road and Cross Bay Boulevard.

As an aside, please don't forget that the National Weather Service has also issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area calling for some 3 to 5 inches of snow starting this evening through tomorrow morning.

Additionally, minor to moderate coastal flooding is also expected to accompany this evening's 9 pm high tide as well as tomorrow (Wednesday) morning's 9:30 am high tide.
