This morning's 6.0 foot high tide at 8:30 am ran almost half way up W12th Road. Thankfully, a significant coastal storm had alreay passed north of us at the time of high tide and although our area was experieincing 20-25 mph winds, they were coming from the north. Consequently, significant coastal flooding was focused along the north shores of Long Island.
